    The stuff seems to resist most any chemical very well. I'd say it's definitely worth a shot!!

    i went with the seal all but I haven't had a chance to put the reservoir back into service yet, we'll see how it holds up. if it doesn't I may take you up on your offer. :)

    Short of NASA grade stuff, coming from a molding stand point, nothing will survive silicon based oils. We are not allowed to have silicon of any kind in the plant due to adhesive issues with paint, primer and industrial adhesives for plastics failing in short order.

    worked at a body shop, had paint issues about once a week....the detailer would come fill his thinner in the paint room,vented to the booth,instant issues. no silicone here.
