My '57 came with these mirrors attached. the left in picture was on the passengers side, and the right on the drivers side. Are either or both factory original to '57?

They are both the right style, and the right arms. The white/chrome head is probably not original, but the right size and shape. You look through the windshield at the passenger side mirror.

I will restore and reinstall these as they were. Should both be semi-gloss black? Thank you.

The driver's side cowl-mount looks OEM for the year, except the arm is way long. My '56/'57 is more like the left one in length

Never saw one on the passenger side. But that base style mounted to the hinge is probably from a later year.

The right one looks exactly like my 58 drivers side. And yes it's long but needs to be. Mine is black but long faded so no idea if gloss or semi. I will be doing mine as semi.

I used to have a '59 that had the exact mirror, mount and long arm as the one on the right in your photo that I am sure was original. My '64 Tux has the same setup, only all in chrome.
The left mirror I think is from a late '60s/early '70s with the shorter arm and extended mount.
I don't ever remember seeing a factory passenger side mirror on the Willys Jeeps, though I do have a NOS passenger side chrome Tux lower windshield hinge with the 4 mounting holes for the mirror.
