Having a 225 with t14, and 3.73 gearing I know what you mean about pushing it hard..

Perhaps get a tach, I will eventually.

My thoughts are do the transmission upgrade, suspension and brake stuff first. These projects are easier to accomplish so you can enjoy the jeep and use it.

My jeep is currently waiting for a t18 install with Dana 18 and teralow, plus dual master. I already have a Dana 30 installed and 33 inch tires. These jeeps are light and therefore it's harder to break things.

If after you do the upgrades and you still lust for that 5.0 do it I was considering a Buick v8 in mine or fuel injection. I made my comments so you could still enjoy your jeep as you upgrade. I haven't driven mine in 2 years because the frame crack and that transmission upgrade. I have been very busy...

 

Thanks for the input guys... I'm going to see if I can get the bronco running to see if it is even a viable candidate but then if it ru s well, I will consider just flipping it to do some work on the jeep.
