Well, that's much less bending-backwards than you pictured above, and a small bend like that gets you very little extra surface contact. I'd say the more you bend the belt backwards, the more likely it will be to come off of the idler.

Hey, give it a try. It's a hobby car - if it does not work, you learned something.

Yes, i wil try another brand of belt, maybe the problem is there, i found the one i put was larger than the groove.

Also i spoke with the locat part guy he will find something i can try out.

Maybe on the first post, where i draw the pulley it maybe extreme, i can find some middle point where i don't have a big bent like this.

So work on it last night....belt seem to be too large for the groove.

So i installed another belt with the right widnt and putting the right amount of tension it doesn't slip anymore.

I'm suppose to get a pulley this morning so in the next week i will try something to get some more surface contact from the belt to the pulley.

Just exchange a few email with bulltear, and their system doesn't support the CS144....only sollution seem to be the dual belt set-up, but for now i'm not able to source the part, and found out yesterday that i have a 3 bolt crank so it's almost impossible to find a 3 groove pulley for the 3 bolt crank :(

Not to say that you could not modify and existing 3 groove to fit or modify one that does fit to except the 3 groove pulley...........been done many times before.
