Need Info On Oem Radio Antenna

    No - it would be up on the curve of the cowl. Looked for a pic of a Jeep with one or the type of antenna and did not find one.

    Antenna on my 73 is below the cowl seam, very much like the yellow jeep. The radio has an AMC faceplate, and the holes drilled for the speaker are similar to another intermediate dash I've seen. The holes for radio and speaker are not painted so assume a dealer-installed option? Perhaps there were instructions and templates for dealerships to do the install.

    Mounting antenna up on the curve of the cowl would seem to get in way of folding the windshield.
