I find a need to install a sun visor. I am seeing the same style visors being offered by Crown and R/Ridge, with two, two screw attachment points on either end. I believe I have an original frame but don't see anything that would indicate it ever had sun visors attached, at least not something screwed onto the frame. Are these correct by OEM, or are they just one size fits all? Hate the idea of drilling into the frame to accommodate a POS part like a visor. Thanks

My Jeep came with factory visors, but they had been water-soaked too many times to be usable. I bought replacements. The hole spacing is different for them, requiring a couple of new holes on each side.

The replacements look ok, but they are not direct replacements for the factory visors. IIRC if the Jeep came through from the factory with no visors, there were no holes for visors in the windshield frame. Clearly the workers were drilling holes in the frame on the assembly line, if the build sheet spec'd visors.

Ah, maybe that is what I am missing is l was looking at the frame straight on rather than on the top. Thanks, will go check that ASAP.

Well, no holes anywhere so obviously in its early days, there was no request for them to be mounted. Would appreciate it if someone could give me a measurement from top center of the frame to the inside attaching points, both left and right so I can be close to factory placement, I would really appreciate that. Thanks

How about those long tinted ones like were in school busses? Do they still have those? Maybe 4' wide, smoked, on aluminum hinge and rail. Why do I remember that?
