So i finally pulled the wheel this morning and gound the brakes are severly out of adjustment. I have one corner of the pads worn to nothing and the rest look almost untouched. The corner thats the worst if the drivers side front brakes, upper end of the rear shoe. Like the wheel cylinder if pushing it way out and everything else is staying still...

Im having a heck of a time finding complete hardware kits. I have ordered a hub socket to tear down the rest of the way to continue checking stuff out. Is there a complete brake spring kit anywhere? All i am seeing is a few adjusters and shoe holding springs and studs but nothing on the hooked springs that hold it all together.

I would like to find a complete brake hardware kit, new wheel cylinders, and hub rebuild kit with the hub seals and a knuckle rebuild kit with seals.

That pretty well puts me at a full axle rebuild minus the differential. If im going this far, i migbt as well go all the way...

What are your opinions on the full rebuild if i plan to upgrade to discs and maybe a front 44 for future 35s? Should i just start looking at a different axle all together to keep from spending the money twice or is there a simple way to get all yhe parts i neex for a quick rebuild now?

Im starting to think my leak is really brake fluid. Its not really thick enough to be oil or grease but is very dirty from inside the wheels so hard for a newbie to tell. There is really only one wet spot near the wheel cylinders where the pads are rubbed down badly but nothing severely leaking. Looks like its pushing too hard on one side and minorly leaking past the seals.

The hubs seem to be covered in oil and it seems to be leaking worst from the center of the hubs where the lockout knobs are so that leadse back to not a bad brake leak but oil...

i was doing the cost comparison for the 10" parts on places liek rock auto and such but couldnt find the springs kit. I was pretty close to the cost of the 11" conversion and probably come out ahead if i replaced the drums and all.
