    I was thinking about it when I found that article, but I eventually changed plans. Many years ago when I had my scout D44 shortened for the front, I had it done professionally. If I was doing it now, I would totally try to do it myself. The years of experience between then and now have definitely given me more of a "what the hell, I'll try anything once" kind of mentality :p
