Is a 1974 304 clutch and flywheel the same as a 1977 258 six?...I just took the 258 out and it appears the same as the 304...Clutch looks hardly worn on the 258, and would like to put it in with the 304, along with the flywheel....?

They are the same diameter. The heavy duty 6 cylinder cover is the same as the 304. The clutch disks are different part numbers, maybe not interchangeable. The '77 is a T-150 and the 304 is a T-15, not sure the splines will match. They are both 1 3/8" x 6, but be careful. The 360/401 clutch is larger, 11" vs the 10.5".

The flywheels are totally NOT interchangeable. The balance is completely different.

Thanks, I'll have to clean up the 304 flywheel...
