Factory options

looking for factory options for 1975 cj6's?

 

What specifically are you wondering about? The list is basically the same as the CJ-5, except they did not offer the 4-speed, and I think they did not offer the solid back panel (but this is disputed).

There may be sales literature online somewhere that you can look at. I see plenty of it for sale, but I could only find the '73 brochure free to read.

 

Yeah I seached Google for sales stuff but came up empty handed too. Basically I'm looking at a trade deal (my 5 for a 6). I really don't have much info on the 6 yet but a few pics and in one I noticed there was a fuel tank under the drivers seat like an early model. It appears the rear tank is in place as well. One of my friends said he had heard that you could get the old style tank on the 6 as a factory option, like a 2nd tank. I had never heard this so I was trying to find out.

 

No, it's not a factory option. However, it was (and still is) a popular add-on that's often installed by owners.

The under-seat tank has no provision for vapor recovery, so it could not have been legally delivered from the factory in a '75.
