Haven't put the dash back on yet to hook up the controls but looking forward to seeing what it will produce.

Finally had a chance to try it out and it works great. It was 40 to 45 degrees yesterday and with just having a bikini top and some old soft doors a drive in the woods was quite comfy. Also given the fact that it has a squirrel cage fan opposed to a blade type it's quiet and moves a good amount of air. I wish i knew what it came out of as I would put one in my 2A when it goes back together. The only markings on it are "nippondenso 116500-1841 12v". It also has a 3 speed fan.

Looks good. The Nippondenso Company used to be Toyota and then they split off. Denso is the new name and there is also a Denso USA now. They still make a lot of auto stuff as well as scanners for bar codes. They actually invented that square 2D code that is used a lot now. There should be lots of there older heater units in the junk yard because they made them for several company's.
