i drove the frog yesterday with the rebuilt rear axle in, i noticed right away that my ez-locker wasnt unlocking, i thought it just wasnt broken in...i realized i was wrong when my axle shaft splines started to slip, till i couldnt drive anymore... :( does anyone have any experience with these lockers??
but wait theres more...i have skyjacker 4" softride, i bought the fitted leaf for them to increase load cap. but now i cant keep my shackles from reversing and the leaf eye sitting on the frame rail.... i am completely at a loss, my shackles are after maket, but they are in rough shape...they are about 3.5" from bolt to bolt...i dont think they should be doing this....help???

I use to have sagging springs that folded the shackles up on the frame. Are these new springs?

A 4" lift spring has a serious arc. That arc will travel alot (flatten under load and get longer). 3.5" shackles are not that odd since early CJ's are 2.75" stock.

The only thing I can think of is try installing your stock shackle and see if that helps.

the springs are not that old... they sagged really bad from the weight if the jeep, so i put a helper spring from skyjacker in and it wont stay off the frame... i thought about moving the shackle mounts forward a little on the frame i think that would help...i also thought about the teraflex revolver shackles...anyone familiar with them? i am not sure at this point...
