Finally got the engine back into the Jeep on Sunday - still LOTS to do - but this is a big step -
Cylinders are 0.030 over, Crank & rods are 0.030 under - head was shaved 0.060", Camshaft reground by Clifford Performance. JEEP ENGINE 5 SMALL.JPG JEEP ENGINE 1 SMALL.JPG

Might have to re-design the power steering mount - it bolts to the 2 front cylinder head bolts on the passenger side - not too sure if I like that idea -
    Still to do:
    - install oil pump
    - static time the engine
    - tighten crank nut
    - mount starter
    - locate and mount alternator
    - install exhaust
    - replace brass fitting on water pump (needs to be angled to clear power steering)
    - find belts
    - drain the old fuel out of the tank
    - install carb
    - install radiator and grille shell
    - install floor pan
    - mount and balance tires
    - Replace master cylinder
    - install front bumpstops
