Fhead fuel pump glass bowl seal

I've been looking for the rubber seal that the glass bowl sits on top of an fhead fuel pump. :hurrican: So far, all I've found are complete rebuild kits. Generically, the only o-rings aren't flat. Has anyone here found a decent alternative?

 

Find some gasket material at a parts store that is for gasoline....i.e. cork or such and cut one out. That's what I've done.

 

But...but...but my kindergarten teacher never trusted me with scissors.

 

Same here, that's why I use a big sharp knife.

 

I made mine from cork composite gasket material. Also made one for my sediment bowl filter. And my gas cap.

 

Should have made one for Don X too.
