    Uncamonkey, not to change the subject, but did you find a way to cure your rear main seal issue? I replaced mine taking all the precautions and it still leaks -- not like it did, but drip here and there. It usually only gets worse...

    To be honest, I changed the entire drive system. I tried twice to fix the seal, my father tried once and we took it to a shop. No luck.
    The V6 didn't leak and I ended up with a better system overall. There is several posts about the rear main seals on 134s with various results. Good luck.
