Windshield is tilted back too far

    FWIW, it was destroyed before I even got there. I didn't even realize it until I scraped out the glob of brushed-on paint....... I unfortunately stripped out one of the alan-head bolts holding my mirror mount that was hiding one of the windshield screws. I drilled it out then snapped my e-z out in it. Grrr.[/QUOTE]

    Don't feel bad. These particular problems are very typical on Cj5s.

    Bought one when I bought my Triumph in 1976. Used it on my Cub Cadet just the other day and on my CB360 to remove the rotor cover.

    On my '61 I put two 1/8" thick X 1" flat steel from my roll cage to the windshield frame to keep it from moving. Used 1/4"
    NutSerts in the underside of the frame just above the wiper motors. Four off-road lights mounted to the frame caused the windshield to flex fore and aft excessively.
