D30 Swap - drive shaft

    Seeing as my axle gears aren't matched, yet. Is it better to run without the front drive shaft connected entirely or should I change the yoke and just run it disengaged? This isn't a long term solution but solely for a test drive or two until I can get the gears matched.

    Don't worry, just leave the transfer case in N or unlock the front hubs, or both. As long as you don't have everything locked in there will not be a problem.

    I'd leave the driveline out. This eliminates the possibility of an "oops" moment. Plus why make more work for yourself?
