I just looked down farther on the pdf I see the confusion now. the lost years. lol. that's crazy. 351704 was sept 1968 and 357140 was sometime in 1969 so yes, mine is 354908 built probably sometime in late 68 or early 69.

    I would definitely consider yours a '69.

Looks solid - the only rust I see is at the below the front corner of the door openings. How are the floors? Don't smash those tail lights - exact replacements are NLA. :)

Check the inside on the hood around the hood latch area for two holes on each side. The holes would be for the rare '69 hood reflectors. If there not there the hood could be a replacement at some time or they were welded up.

Yeah, it does look good. It befuddles me how such a simple vehicle can end up like that.

Since it's a different color I too was thinking replacement maybe, or someone just wanted it that color.

VIN falls pretty solidly in the 1969 model year. I don't have good records of month of build for this time period, I don't think they were putting the dash stickers on yet in model year 1969.

Glad you got it! I'm sure you realize we will want more pictures when you get it home. Under hood, dash, general floor condition, etc. :)

Original oil bath air cleaner and horn... Don't trash them...

Looks like it may have a smog pump and the plumbing. I'd keep it but not use it.

    Keep all original parts...

What is the plaque below the Vin plate by the heater box?

Does it have the fan shroud?

    Get it home now...:D
