Do I need to put in the valve seats for unleaded fuel. What size cam to give good all around preformance. Keeping two barrel carb. Will go with headers.

No you don't need to do it, you can keep adding marvel oil or lead substitute.
I just put them in mine along with valve seals and new guides, it will definately make the heads last longer and a little tougher.

As far as the cam Competition cams has a few good cams for the 225, the headers while louder than manifolds provide a little boost in power along with clearance for saginaw steering.

have the comp cams 252h installed in the :v6:. looks slightly more aggresive than stock. if you get a cam, spring for the complete kit; comes w/cam (duh), valve springs/seals, timing chain/gears, valve seals, hydro lifters, destructions and a bunch of stickers. don't remember right off which kit i got, (sk?) i think. was about 4 bills @ flaps for the kit and took 2 wks to come in, due to comp grinding the cam, as none where in stock.
