I have some beat up old d-30 drum hubs that i am putting on my full float axle. i machined the rotor mating side of the hub and trued it up. i machined off the burrs where someone hit it with a hammer on the outside too. Pressed my studs through with the rotors on and wow. .010 out. the rotors are brand new with swirl machine marks on the faces too. chinese though. Good thing I chucked them up on my lathe and actually put an indicator on them.

The rotors could have been warped before installation. Especially if they were on the bottom of the pallet when shipped over. Most likely is when the studs were pressed in the rotors became warped at that time. I see it very commonly.

I pressed in the studs when making the hub/rotor assembly but didn't check runout on the disks before assembly. It could have been me or the rotor could have had that much runout before assembly. Just a heads up to the guys doing the conversion, that It is best to check runout on the hub/rotor assembly.
