Well I got a shock yesterday. Went out to take the jeep for a spin, and the clutch was stuck.. For no known reason.
Did a search here and most said get against a tree, mash the clutch in and bump the starter, with it in gear.
That would cause me to drag it backwards, then turn a 90, then re-hook and go again.. Then the brain kicked in..
I just put a 8x8 cinder block in front of the back wheels, put it in 2nd and bumped the starter. {with the clutch depressed} It came loose on the second bump... The moral of this story is , if you don't have a tree, use a block..

Had to that once on the 3B but idled it in to the tree (big Silver Poplar) with the clutch in and yes, about 2 attempts before it broke loose. Sort of rearranged the frame mounted camper on my Mitsubishi Fuso with my Black Walnut so we could re weld some of it. Straightened the frame on MB using a Cottonwood after an accident and used to use Pine trees often to fix the bent front end of my "Off road VW" When the front bumper is about 3" off the ground, you know you have a problem.

A tree sounds like more fun, though.

If it's stuck bad and you don't feel like rammin' into something just start them in gear and drive around with the clutch down, it will come loose with a lot less chance of damage.
