D44 Carrier bearings & races

Does anyone know the Timken part numbers for the D44 carrier bearings/races? I am replacing them on a Powr-Lok in a 69 CJ-5. Thanks!

So the bearing is different for the 10/19 spline as compared to the 30 spline? I guess that means that making set up bearings from a 19 spline case for a 30 spline case is not going to work.

 

Correct.
The 30 spline Powr Lok has a slightly increased journal diameter compared to the 19 spline unit.
Just to complicate matters its possible to install 30 spline side gears into 19 spline case halves.

 

I do have a new master bearing set for a regular d44 30 spline case and I have bearings installed on a open 30 spline case that i will take off to use as set up bearing providing I don't destroy them in the process.

Will those work with the 30 spline powerlok I purchased?

 

Only on a Powerlock. Not on a stock open case.

 

Yes all D44 30 spline carriers use the 25590 cone rollers.
