F134 PCV vs F134 draft tube

    sorry for bumping this but i have this setup to on my 67 f134... is that the correct setup? the crank have ventilation?

    It is the way the PCV system is setup on my 67 F134, so I think you could call it "the correct setup".

    There were several variations over the years in how the system was plumbed and that causes some confusion, but the end results are the still the same.

    So no need to worry about over pressure in the crank? My oil pressure show around 70 psi now.

    The PCV system has nothing at all to do with oil pressure.

    That's a LOT, if accurate.

    But not PCV related.

    Oh ok... Any idea what should i chack? Im using 10w40 btw...
    I will also chack with another guage just to make sure the reading is right.
    What should be the oil pressure on this engine?

    Ok i checked it out... when the engine is cold it reads 70 psi and after its in working temp it get around 55 psi...

    At what rpm are you getting 70/55psi? At warm idle, FSM says 6psi minimum.

    My FSM calls for 20psi to 35psi at 2000rpm (highway speed). The relief valve is supposed to open and stop it going beyond 40psi maximum.


    If you don't have an FSM you should get one.
