Just found you guys so I thought I could ask you this question. I have a '70 Renegade l that is about as stock as a stove.
    1) My turn signals stopped working and I can't find the flasher. My Haynes manual really stinks as it covers about 30 years of models and nothing specific. Where can I find it? I have torn seats out and crawled under the dash but not found anything.

    2) I learned here that there could be a variety of parts used on my Jeep in '70. Mine has a titl steering column from an automatic transmission vehicle. I can't believe this to be stock but I have found some interresting parts on here that were stock.

Thanks for your time and help.

Welcome Twobits...I can't help you with the flasher part since you have an odd steering column but welcome anyway...

Love to see pics of your Ren I...they're kinda rare around here.

generally the flasher is canister shoved up under the dash or mounted to the firewall on the inside. i have also found them mounted to the firewall in the engine compartment.

is there a fuse panel installed? some after market panels mount the flasher there.
