Tremcald paint removal???

    Hey there, I just finished sm420/d20 swap! The guy I bought the trans/t case had painted it and sm420 shifter knob tremcald blue! Weird... Anyways what product can I use to remove blue paint from knob without melting or wrecking the original I guess Bakelite sm knob??? Thanks j

    Try Citrus strip. Not real harsh, works pretty good.

    Or break fluid. I understand they strip paint off of plastics with it. Soak it for a few days to see if it softens. I did this with a set of plastic military light housings and it worked fantastic.
