I haven't posted in a while. I am starting to get a death wobble again. I am going to take it to an alignment shop to get the measurements. I can't seem to recall the settings I should have. I think 5-7 caster, but that may or may not be adjusted with shims from what I read (different opinions). Also, I guess the real pressing things are toe in and camber. Can camber be set at the alignment shop? My ride is a 57 Willys CJ5, ford reverse steering conversion, Black diamond 2 inch lift, BFG KM2's 32x11.5x15
What settings for caster, camber, and toe in? anything else besides getting tires balanced and maybe running pressure in 30's.

Camber is non-adjustable from the factory (there are Cosmo shims that can be added but not be necessary) and won't cause death wobble in any case. Caster is adjustable with shims between the spring and spring mount on the axle housing. 5-7 degrees is desirable on these Jeeps even though the factory specs are typically around 3 degrees. Toe is also very important.
I would be looking real close at all the components before I took it in for an alignment. Frame for cracks, steering box mount, steering box, steering shafts, tie rod ends, spring bushings, U-bolts, kingpin bearings or ball joints, wheel bearings, tire inflation, etc. etc.

My death wobble was caused by the leaf spring to axle u-bolts not being tight.
Grab the front bumper and rock it side to side while looking at everything in the front end to find the slop that shouldn't be there. It's easier with two people.
