Several years ago I was given a "set" of free wrangler 4" lift springs. brand unknown, true lift unknown. I installed them on my cj2a. One was twisted a little, but the jeep wasn't moving anywhere, so i didn't care. Now I'm driving it around and haven't had any performance issues but it bothered me. I had the opportunity to buy a set of rough country 4" lift wrangler springs that some guy installed on his wrangler, put big tires on it and realized he couldn't even drive it around because of his lack of HP. Said he could barely drive it in high gear and never in OD. 75 bucks for the set. Came with the installed wedge for angle of rear differential and 4 shocks. Basically new.

Either these new springs are greater than 4" of lift or the old ones were less than 4" of lift. My jeep is all jacked up now. I guess ill have to get tires that are taller than 33" now. poor me. hahahahahahahahahahahR)R)

I plan on keeping 5.38 gears and installing 5.38 in a dana 30 to replace my dana 25.
