DANA18 and DANA 20 swap info

    I currently have a dana (spicer)18 twin stick transfer case,I am thinking about switching to the dana 20 for driveline swap reasons. I know that some are interchangeable. My 18 is from a 76 cj5, and I believe it to be the large bore as I dont have to pull the bull gear to remove it from the transmission. My question is: will a dana 20 mount up? or do I have more adapting to do?

    If you have a large hole 18 adapter on the trans then a 20 will bolt right up. You wil need the matching bull gear for the 20 and linkage made need modification depending on application of the 20, but one will interchange for the other. Nickmil.
