Yesterdays chore was to find some GL1 for the transmission in my 3B. This being an agricultural area, I thought it would be easy, Nope.
I stopped into my favorite watering hole for a quick one, mentioned my problem to a redneck plumber freind.
He whipped his Iphone out, typed in GL1 Gear lube.
NAPA #65201 for the 1 Gal size, $12.99
NAPA #65205 for the 5 gal size, $58.91, $62.74 here with tax.
If you just call them, they say they don't have anything like this, if you give them their part number, suddenly they have some info. Something is messed up in their system.

I posted this to help other people. Two days ago I tried to find the info via the search function. I probably used the wrong search terms. I know at least one of the part numbers has been posted before.
Two bulk oil dealers said they could order some in, one place gave me a price of $80.00 for 5 gals. The other place never gave me a price.

I have 3 or 4 gallons of the GL1- all from the local NAPA. But there are other choices for the T90- 50wt engine oil, etc. Do a search.

GL-4 works fine also and many NAPA's stock a gallon or two. I don't recommend GL-5.
