now things become much clearer.

I think, I could like to keep that sticker, mask it, paint around it.
Since the CJ started its way in Canada, maybe a nice way for that kind of 'homage'.
My dash is badly silver re-painted, similar to the door.

I'm thinking to keep it Blue but change to another blue.
I like that old Mercedes gray blue metallic or that one Richard Petty had on his 74 Charger. Gotta think about it.

 

it's rounded so i ignored the scan thought. Good idea, i'll ask a friend who runs a decal shop.

 

Just wanted to say: No progress except occasionally buying parts, since lot of work and obligations in "real life".

Well, some progress, at least, ordered a new soft top and the window frame finally.
Does someone know a reasonable priced source for the period correct tailgate or has one lying around?
