Ok, my 69 cj5 never sat "right" since I got her. I am well aware of jeep lean, but trust me, this is something else.
After much research, and talking with you guys it looked as if my jeep came with a 4" lift.
It sits high in the rear which I can't stand, so, I figured replace the two rears with two new 2 1/2" lift springs. Well, unfortunately it looks like they were the exact same springs I took off. Jeep sits the same, still high in the rear. Oh well.
Let me also say I already replaced all shackles front and back and put 3/4" lift shackles in front.
    Still *** high.
    My question is:
Replace the two fronts now with 4" lift springs?
Replace the two fronts with new 2 1/2" springs and see what it does?
Replace the two front springs with 2 1/2" lift springs and also shackle reversal?

Jeep sits about 1" too high in rear. Wish now I replaced the rears with stock so the rear end would have come down. I'm not a fan of real high cj5's, plus I am running 31's so it's gonna start to look ridiculous.
    Any HELP greatly appreciated!

Anyone make 3" lift springs? Any cool HD shackles out there that will help with front?
    Bumming me out.

    Thanks in advance.

The new springs may settle after a while.

I'm not a fan of re-arching springs, but once I had a set of springs DE-arched and they turned out well.
If you've got a local spring shop, they may be able to help.

When you replace springs ALWAYS replace all 4 so they are matched. It could be the fronts are simply sagged which is why changing only the rear did not fix the issue.

It doesn't hurt to have the back a little higher than the front. It might level out with 4 people or a bunch of camping gear in the back
