what color do I have here?

1971 cj5, what is this color? I have searched through the threads but haven't found it.

If your jeep still has a vin you can check the color code.

A '71 will not have the paint code on the VIN plate. These Jeeps came with a metal paint and trim sticker on the passenger side of the firewall.

If it's a '71 paint color, it's either Avacodo Mist Poly or Julip Green Poly. "Poly" means metallic. http://www.tcpglobal.com/aclchip.aspx?image=1971-Jeep-pg02.jpg

It looks more like Fairway Green Poly to me. Fairway Green is a '73-74 color. Photographs and monitors can be deceiving though.

It really looks like a '73 color - you sure it's a '71? What's the VIN?
