I've looked at the old posts and they either got off subject and talked about posi-trac or whatever or never answered the question. I started a post one time a couple years ago but I never got an answer to this question.

If everything is new on a v6 '5 including the clutch, the surface of the flywheel has been resurfaced, the 4 cyl motor mounts are good and mounted on the passenger side of the transfer case, and I have a normal rear end, how do you get the reverse chatter out?

It never fails, I'll be by myself in the driveway and it won't hardly make movement, but it seems like every time I'm at Home Depot or something with people standing everywhere I go to backup and it sounds like the jeep is going to explode.

I've heard several that's what shocks and or cable stays are for, but has anyone had the same problem and went back to using the original or that repo conduit cable and it stopped that chatter?

If the conduit works, how does that fix it?
