ABS Power Brake Add-On

    I saw on the Speed Channel the other day a brake "booster" that goes inline with your existing system... It has an electric motor that increases the pressure going to the brakes.

    But I can't seem to find any info on the internet. Has anyone heard of it or used it?

    Don't know about an electric one but years ago they made a vacuum operated remote unit. I think it was Vanco that made it. Nickmil.

    Sounds like an ABS system, rather than a booster.

    There used to be a electro mechanical ABS system that was sold by JC Whitney and several other companies years ago, it was an electric Pegasus valve that oscillated when pressure from the pedal was applied. Supposedly it worked quite well from a couple of articles I read in a few magazines, but it never seemed to catch on.
