I got some used fenders for my 63 CJ5 that are in way better shape than my current ones except for the back area which is a separate piece welded on. Does anyone sell just that piece? Kind of hard to describe it so I circled it below. It is just a sheet metal cosmetic piece, I could almost add the single bend in it and cut it myself but I would rather buy a pair and weld them on.

So, rusty? More likely you would find a smashed fender to combine with your rusty fender. No one makes patch panels for these, AFAIK. If the lip is intact, cut some steel and make a patch.

I just pulled one of my fenders apart and cleaned the rust up behind that piece. There are aLOT of spot welds. Mine weren't rusted thru but it was close in one spot on the inside. Just sand blasted, used weld thru primer and welded it all back together on friday.

    Ain't that the truth :(

I gave up trying to get mine off, I shot some rust converter it there through the abortive spot weld removal holes, pumped POR 15 in til it came out the edges & called it good.

I had it at work and did a little at a time.:D mine had seperated at the inner fender to the outer lower portion and the flange was pretty beat up. I wanted to straighten it out and re-weld it or else I probably would have just done the same as you howard;)

I buy from them almost weekly and either I buy over $150 and its free shipping or I don't buy that much and I don't recall it ever costing more than $13. but then again I am in Washington state and they I think are in Pennsylvania both of course are considered the lower 48 states within the United States.

It might be so much for you because your in Canada but I don't know for sure fortunately I don't do a lot of international purchases.

They refund on shipping, the calculator just puts in the $72 no matter what you order- after they wonder down to the post office & determine the actual shipping costs to Canada then they refund the extra. Most of my orders seem to be in the $35 range for shipping costs.

$35 is reasonable. I'd pay that. I sent then an e-mail hoping they could give me a more realistic price. I looked and can't find them anywere else. I have to wonder how many people see the shipping cost and hit delete.(like i did)

    Thanks for the replies
