dana 44 front end

    i was wondering what parts if any, i could use to put disc brakes on my 74 cj-5 ,ihave a friend who just blew his ring and pinion out of his chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 he said i could have it if i could use any parts (spindle ,axle ,backing plates ect) so is there anything that would interchange with my 74 dana 30 his case say's 44-85 and its a 6 or 8 bolt lug didn't pay to much attn, any help would be very helpful thanks

    The 3/4ton Chevy should be an 8lug. Unfortunately you need 1/2ton caliper brackets. The calipers might work though

    You could be able to use it, bt like mentionned its a 8 lug patern. You will need to use the knukkle and all the part that goes with it. Also you will need to swap the outer axle, but i dont know if both are the same u-joint.

    Better found a dana 30 from a later cj with the 6 bolts hub (better manual lock).
