I have a 1970 CJ-5. The bearing locknut is ~2" OD and has 4 holes covering 180 degrees and no holes in the other 180 degrees. Can someone tell me where to find a socket for this?
    Thanks

Is this a lock nut for the spindle? Sounds like a Warn Automatic Locking Hub lock nut. These can be removed with your fingers once the set screws in the little holes are removed.

    It's a locking hub.
It sits in front of the lock nut...
I didn't think to look inside the holes for set screws. They flat head or Allen head or something else?
    I'll look. Thanks

Should be little allen head screws. Do the hubs say Lock O Matic on the brass dial that turns? Have a picture of the hub or the lock nut you're working at?

Thank you all very much! I think you nailed it. I'll need to wait a couple days to try but the diagram is perfect.
Thanks again from Dan and Noah
