f134 oil leak at filler tube

    i've looked thru my manuals and online to see if there is a gasket or seal where the oil filler tube connects to the engine. I can't find any diagrams that show either. does anyone know? It looks like the previous owner of my 67 CJ5 with F134 used Ultra Black gasket sealer. Is that my only option to stop the leak?

    On an L head, at least, there is no seal. I just put a thin ring of sealant on it and tapped it down into place.

    I have sealant on my F head. I am pretty sure there was never a seal there because I have two F head engines and neither have one.
