Sounds silly yes, but I know they are long tube headers off a buick 225 out of a 69 cj5. They don't leak and flanges are a full 3/8". The flange pattern doesn't match the Hedmans I've seen but I may be ignorant or year to year changes. These headers are at least 10 years old, might be 25 who knows. I need gaskets, so any ideas?

The pictures and whats left of the plating makes them look like Advance Adapters brand.
Mine lasted 30 years; I just replaced them.

Again, from the plating and the shape of the flanges they are Advance Adapter. I have the same headers on my CJ2A with a V-6. Call Advance Adapter, they still stock. Part number 716554. Good Luck

    CJ5 V6 headers won't work on a CJ2A without serious modification.
I found that out when Hooker gave me a set.
AA has a different part number for V6 conversion headers in a flatty.

Part number 716554 is for the gaskets only. All Buick V-6 headers will use this gasket regardless of year.

Uh, no. There was a port change in the heads that went from a "square" or almost somewhat "rectangular" port to a "dogleg" port. The exhaust gaskets are most definitely different depending on the port shape. I think I have a dogleg gasket hanging in the garage but would have to check. The headers can be interchanged but sealing can be an issue as can exhaust restriction at the port to flange connection.

Now, I am confused, all I know is that I have a set of headers for a Buick V-6 in a CJ2A. Motor came from a 66 CJ. Those gasket numbers fit these headers. Are the different ports from maybe 231.s

Yes 231 had the different ports, but you said all Buick V-6 headers used the same gasket which is not true.

I called AA yesterday to chat about them, and the gasket they recommended was indeed 716554. I got those and anew bolt pack. Should be here the weekend. Thanks for the help everyone!
