Anyone run tractor tires?

We were wheeling this weekend and saw a zuki with tractor lug tires on it. That thing was open front and rear, with a soa and it went everywhere. I was impressed.

Just wondered if anyone else was doing it and what sizes.

Of course this would not work on the street,,, but for trail it seems pretty good.

 

Alot of people do it, problem is, finding a good used set for a 15 inch rim.... cuase knew ya mayswell buy boggers.

 

I have a 3B with four tractor lug tires. They are 16 inch diamater and have tubes in them.

I went through a catalog at a tire dealer and found them; they ordered them and mounted them.

They're illegal for road use, but I just use my 3b around the place here and I like 'em. They tend to cut into softer dirt (and lawns) so they aren't really good if you are using them on grass.

 

i have seen a few jeeps with '' DITCH WITCH'' tires, from what i here you can sometimes get them used,rims and all

 

Kamel do you know what size they are,,,, Any pix of them? Just trying to get an idea of how much the tire will fill the wheelwells... Thanks.

 

terra tires come 31.50x15.50 on 15 inch rim.

 

I run the above mentioned terra tires in the dunes

I also have run Delta "floats" ; look like front tractor tires, 11.00-15 cross grooved to my liking; I have them on 15" wide wheels also

 

Ran the Good Year Teras for awhile.
Go with the TSL Boggers if you want that look. DOT legal.

 

I'll check size on the tires tomorrow. I'll shoot a picture.
