67 CJ6 Rebuild

Ok, guys figured id share my rebuild. Jeep was running and driving so this is just a clean up project. Pulled it in the shop Christmas Eve and started the tear down.

Frame blasted, Then started new paint



Going to start blasting the tub later this week.

 

OK, Its been awhile, Starting my business over the last few years has really left me with little to no time but i'm back to working on the 6.

Ill post a few pics up of the progress. After getting the tub off and chassis blasted and painted I started blasting the body to see what needed attention. Not bad just a few typical spots and a wrinkled quarter where the spare used to be.

No pics of right after blasting but a few of the repaired areas and body work.

Rear quarter before a lot of hammer and dollie work, shrinking etc.








Also got the engine cleaned up and painted, new timing set gaskets etc.



Got raptor liner for the inside and under the tub, going with original color (white ) and tinting the liner. Hope to shoot it this weekend. and possibly shooting the outside of the body in paint next weekend. Ill post up pics of the progress!!
