    Sooooo.........the early factory slots are D slots with the lug hole centered on the web and the later factory slots are oval slots with the lug center on the slot hole??

    OK. Now, an old friend had a '76 Renegade with the factory slots on. He said the wheels were made of magnesium. Sort of stumped me at the time and I never learned anything on the subject. Magnesium? Aluminum/magnesium alloy?
