amc v8 4bbl intake question

Been doing lot of research on internet and i found this adaptor on summit racing

Seem to adapt the 4350 spreadbore to square bore so i can put a holley.

Here's the application
Carburetor Flange (application): Square bore
Carburetor Bolt Pattern: 4-bolt (5 5/8 in. x 5 1/8 in.)
Manifold Mounting Flange: Ford 460 Autolite
Manifold Bolt Pattern: 4-bolt (5 5/8 in. x 5 1/8 in.)
Application Notes: Also works on Motorcraft 4300/4350 flange.

 

Ah, yes, the old Holley "flaming ****pot" LOL
Those had the fuel bowl mounted ABOVE the venturis, so if you get a backfire, it turns into a nice car-B-que!
He should still be able to find an adapter from that carb to a standard Holley 4bbl.
