...there is one available locally, a T18-1B, mated to D20. I think it said it's from a 1970 Kaiser J-3000. Will it bolt up to my 225?

Input shaft is way to long for a 5 but I have seen one transplanted in a 6.

What engine was it behind? If an I-6 it might be able to be made to work as they had a fairly short input shaft. If a V-8 then it would need converted at the input shaft would be around 12-13" or so long. Plus would be setup for a 20 or large hole 18 transfer case.

OK, thanks. I have a D20 in my Jeep. The running gear is from a 72 Commando, or so I was told when I bought it. I thought there was a chance the T18 might have bolted up.I can't afford to do the necessary mods right now...
