Dana 44 trac-loc

    I recently purchased a Trac-Loc for my offset Dana 44 I am building and will be putting in my '67 CJ5. I have seen on several occasions people talking about "this Trac-Loc is for use with 3.73 and down and this Trac-Loc is for use with 3.92 and up. How do I tell which one i have?

    need the stamping numbers from the case and i could look it up maybe.

    Set the case on a flat surface with the machined surface of the ring gear flange facing up. Then measure from the machined surface to the flat surface the case is sitting on. Then do a search here. I posted the measurements between the two on this site quite a while ago. If you can't find them I can get those measurements for you next week if needed. I don't have them at home.
