I got this idea from a guy who did it to his flanged D44 axle on the intermediate boards. I used 95 Geo tracker front disc and 2000 Nissan car rear calipers and E-brake linkage. I am not quite ready to run the jeep yet but it seems to fit. The caliper fits under my 6" wide stock style steel rims. The backing plate is 1/4" steel plate bolted on with 3 of the bolts which held the backing plate for the drum. 0.64" spacers hold the caliper off the plate. I will make something more permanent than the .64 round spacers once I see if that is the right distance. One problem is the e-brake cable wont come in quite straight, it angles slightly. I have a e-brake lever between the seats. Once I get the other side on I will see if that affects the e-brake action. It didnt seem to as best I could pull on the cable with only one end connected. I did have to get longer lug nuts since the rotor is a little thicker than the drum was, later model stock jeep lugs work. Not sure if I can get reverse threaded rear lugs.

One note on lugs. The splines on one of my axles studs extended past the face of the hub and the holes in the rotors are tight enough the rotor wont seat on the face of the hub with those studs. On another axles hub the splines were short enough that I did not have this problem but with the rotor and the stock rims the end of the lug nut was flush with the top of the stud. The new studs I put in are Dorman 610-034 studs. These are what is in the pictures above which leaves about 2 threads exposed with stock steel rims.
