So after 1 trip through the Rubicon and 2 other trips to Rubicon Springs I have to say the Ox locker is the bomb. After 15 years of having an auto locker or spool in the rear axle I'm really liking the ability to run open when I want. I had forgotten how capable the old Jeep is without lockers. And hey, the Jeep actually turns out on the trail now. The Ox seems to unlock very fast, faster than the ARB but that may be because it's easier to bind up the front than the rear because of the steering. If I had spent the money on an Ox to begin with instead of a Lockright, then a Detroit, then a spool, I would have saved a few bucks in the long run. Although 10 years ago there were plenty of issues with the Ox that needed to be worked out. I'm happy, and the "traction circle" is complete. A little Zen for ya'll.
