Had a couple of wind free days so I checked the mileage today. The rebuild has given a substantial increase in mileage. 20.6 mpg all hwy (ex for parking lot). There is a huge increase in upper end power. I can't tell a difference in low end power. I am one happy boy.

Excellent ... you must have a light foot on the highway.

Not always true, but have been "egg below the footing" it during the test. It seemed we were getting high teens even not being careful. Bodes well for our cross country trips.

Nice !!! What is your setup, trans-t-case-overdrive-gears-tires Ect. My V6 is at the machine shop. I hope I have similar results when it gets installed.....

Click my avatar and select the "About Me" tab. Only difference is a fresh rebuild with Comp Cams 260H cam. Just noticed you have the F134. V6 here.

Yep, My V6 is at the machine shop and I already have a rebuilt Sm-420 and Dana 18 married with a Novak adapter in the shop. I tried to get the Comp Cams 260H Kit but they said it has been discontinued and had to go with a 268H Kit. Small displacement relatively big cam = rough Idle. I hope it is not to much and will give me mileage similar to yours. And still good low speed performance. Great engine build by the way !!

The 268H will only have a mild chop at idle, it's actually a pretty good choice for the 225..

That is good to hear Bubba. I have been a little worried about it...
