Well...did you check out the Dyna Beads? I'm a glutton for punishment...so I think I might try them soon. I called them up and they said that this stuff completely replaces wheel weights. And you don't have to pay someone to balance the tire...just pull the core from the stem and pour this stuff in and go. Dynamic Balancing they call it.

    Oh yeah...another tire balancing option....

Seems that certain high quality tire shops have really good tire balancing machines that will tell you to rotate a tire on a rim so that the offsets in the tires will match the offsets in the rim..

Well..offsets probably isn't the correct term but you get the picture...

And...I found one of these places in J'son so I may have to make a trip soon.

    Hey John.......I was just thinking

A while back someone mentioned that they had a vibration and it turned out that the weight on the brake drum came off.

Yeah,...I picked up on that in some of the other reading I was doing...and...I've got that jerking to the left when I apply the brakes so maybe somethings sort of out of round within my hub...

I got my new shoes and wheel cylinders in today and the new brake hoses in last night so when I do that repair, it might all go away.

But then there's the fact that I know the tire's out of round.

I've heard of shops that can 'shave' tires down if they get out of round. We used to have on here in 'da Burgh that could do it but they went belly-up years ago. IIRC, they did a nice business cutting down drag slicks and such.

Mebbe call around to some of the commercial tire places and they might be able to steer you to a shop that can do this. Balance is immaterial if the danged tire is square!
