ok so...lacking fancy tools (such as a torch or air compressor)...i gave up on attempting to install the new front suspension and paid a friend/mechanic to do it....bummer but i guess i got to do what i got to do! but hey ...it only leans a little tiny bit now!

the day before i took it in for the suspension..the carb decided decided to do its impression of a kitchen strainer...gas leaking all over....like a lot of gas comming out of the bowl and the gasket between it and the !
so i chunked out the money for the solex and plan on rebuilding the carter when i get a min.
now that the new carb is on it starts sooooo easy now...no choke..just a quick blip of the gas and ...vroom!

however...i am going to have to change the plugs. its idleing rough and sputtering like it has a misfire. i pulled one plug and it was dry and sooty so i assume it was running rich with the old carb.

If you're creative enough, you probably have room. I've been thinking about moving my compressor to the backyard (build it a home of its own)& running plumbing to my shed, garage & RV pad.

ETA: One of the best tools I've ever purchased was a Lincoln wire feed welder.
